Job Summary
Perform physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, communicate progress to staff, assist with supervision of PTA students, and maintain equipment and departmental supplies. Required qualifications include a Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the physical ability to teach locomotor skills. Certification in BCLS must be maintained for continued employment. Preferred qualifications include an Associates Degree from an accredited program and a year of experience in a hospital setting. Positions are full-time with a work schedule of 7:00AM - 4:30PM.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills
- Certification in BCLS
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- One-year of experience in a hospital setting
