Job Summary
Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and assist the Physical Therapist with selected procedures. Maintain the patient treatment schedule, confer with care managers regarding treatment modifications and progress, and ensure patient safety during all interactions. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain facility cleanliness and attend required meetings. This role requires an associate degree in physical therapy or completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, along with at least two years of facility experience and a current CPR certificate. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the physical ability to balance, kneel, crouch, and lift for extended periods.
