Physical Therapy Assistant

Assist Physical Therapist in selected procedures and prepare patients and equipment for treatment. Maintain a patient treatment schedule, confer with the management team about patient needs, progress and treatment modifications, aid in patient care and safety, prepare equipment, check patient and equipment during treatment, and perform housekeeping duties to maintain an orderly facility. Attend facility meetings as required. Requires an Associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant and a current CPR certificate; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Physical Therapy facility, nursing home, or rehabilitation agency is preferred. Skills emphasize interpersonal communication, confidentiality, customer engagement, and dexterity for standing and moving for extended periods. Employer emphasizes equal opportunity in employment.
