Physical Therapy Assistant

Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and assist the Physical Therapist with selected procedures according to their directions. Maintain the patient treatment schedule consistent with facility needs while conferring with active patient managers to report on progress and treatment modifications. Aid in patient care and safety by checking patients and equipment during sessions for comfort and security. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain order and cleanliness throughout the facility and attend required meetings. Requires an associate degree in physical therapy or graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, minimum two years of experience in a therapy, nursing, or rehabilitation setting, and a current CPR certificate.
