Job Summary
PTA provides high-quality physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with evaluations, assessments, tests, and therapeutic procedures; guiding residents through mobility activities and therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence; collaborating with the rehabilitation team to deliver individualized care plans; monitoring progress and communicating updates; completing clinical documentation accurately and timely; participating in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions; maintaining therapy equipment and reporting maintenance needs; delivering exceptional, compassionate service to residents and families; and supporting FellowshipLIFE’s mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Commitment to providing resident-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
