Job Summary
Carry out physical therapy programs as planned and directed by the physical therapist, training patients in exercises, ambulation, and activities of daily living. Collect clinical assessment scores, radiographic data, and health-related quality of life information while performing a wide range of tests and evaluations including neurological, motor, and perceptual skill assessments. Maintain supplies and equipment, assist with research protocols and treatment development, and ensure quality control of data. Participate in staff meetings, forums, and in-service training activities. Requires a current state license, two-year college program completion, and CPR certification every two years. Full-time role with Monday through Friday hours, some weekend and holiday requirements, and a pay range of $25.30 to $37.95.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of two year college program for Physical Therapy Assistants approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Current license in the State of applicable state to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- CPR certification every two years
- Good physical strength and condition
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
