Job Summary
Implement patient treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation while following the therapist's plan of care. Administer aquatic therapy and educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods. Adjust interventions based on patient response after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting all changes in the daily note. Complete daily documentation and charging in the therapy EMR, coordinate with referring providers on progress and recommendations, and fulfill annual education requirements for the DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program. Shifts vary from 7 AM to 6 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Associate's Degree: Physical Therapy Assistant
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with Python
- Bachelor's in CS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
