Physical Therapy Assistant - Laplace, LA

Administer physical therapy procedures including electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, traction, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities such as ambulation and transfer training. Conduct patient education on home programs to advance independence and document progress through sequential testing of muscle strength and activities of daily living. Provide treatment in the office, patient homes, or nursing facilities while assisting with patient transfers and equipment setup. Works under the direction of Physical Therapists with frequent contact with patients and department members.
