Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions for adult and geriatric patients during home health visits in Montgomery County, Maryland, as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being while adhering to comprehensive infection prevention protocols and daily pre-screens. Maintain current licensure in the state of Maryland and possess at least one year of work experience under a qualified Physical Therapist. Base pay ranges from $43.00 to $51.00 per point, with an expectation of travel within the Bethesda, MD concentration area.
Required Qualifications
- Home Health Experience
- Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
- Open to traveling in Bethesda, MD area
