Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to adult and geriatric patients during home health visits in Frederick County, Maryland. Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Maintain current licensure or certification in the state of MD and possess at least one year's work experience under supervision. Base pay ranges from $43.00 to $51.00 per point.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
