Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Perform home health visits throughout Calvert County, Maryland, while adhering to comprehensive infection prevention protocols and daily pre-screens. Maintain current licensure in the state of MD and complete at least one year of work experience under a qualified Physical Therapist. Base pay ranges from $43.00 to $51.00 per point depending on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- A satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
