Job Summary
Assist in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures for patients in the Mountain View, Palo Alto, Stanford, and Los Altos areas. May assist in developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and modifying specific treatments within the scope of the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students. Requires a graduate degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program, PTA certification, BLS, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Full-time, rotating weekend schedule with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available to external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- PTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Valid Drivers License
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice
- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in demanding work environment
- Ability to organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements
