Job Summary
Per diem/part-time Physical Therapist Assistant role providing home health visits for adult and geriatric patients across Williamsburg to Hampton, VA. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide treatment, tests, client education, and interventions; requires VA licensure and an associate degree (two-year PTA program) or equivalent experience with proficiency exam; per-visit workload with field-based responsibilities and PPE/infection-control support; BAYADA benefits and equal-opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of VA
- Graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or one year experience with proficiency exam (if initial qualification before Dec 31, 1977)
- At least one year’s work experience under supervision of a Physical Therapist
