Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Perform home health visits for adult and geriatric patients in Windsor/Windham County, VT, on a per visit basis. Maintain current Vermont licensure or certification and complete required training and proficiency exams. Adhere to comprehensive infection prevention protocols, daily pre-screens, and PPE supplies while supporting the Vermont Visits office team.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (indicated by school transcript or diploma)
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) AND a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
