Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to adult and geriatric patients in Washington County, VT, as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through home health visits on a per-visit basis. Maintain current Vermont licensure or certification and hold at least one year of work experience under a qualified Physical Therapist's supervision. Base pay ranges from $35 to $40 per hour depending on qualifications, with additional benefits including paid time off, health plans, and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (as indicated by school transcript or diploma)
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) AND a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
