Job Summary
Provides physical therapy interventions to designated patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT); assists in monitoring patient progress, documents care, and follows PT plan of care. Travels to patients’ homes for direct care with various environments, assists with activities of daily living and use of durable medical equipment, and participates in interdisciplinary team activities. Requires NY State PTA certification, an associate’s degree, and at least two years of clinical patient care experience. Pay ranges from $33.88 to $42.35 per hour; position located in New York City, NY.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Certification as Physical Therapist Assistant
- Associate’s Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from a New York State approved program or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in clinical patient care
