Job Summary
Recommend various physical therapy modalities including diathermy, hydrotherapy, massage, electrotherapy, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercise as prescribed. Ensure treatment plans maximize healing, pain relief, and patient functional independence while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on rehabilitation needs. Maintain treatment and administrative areas in a safe, orderly manner and perform duties such as patient check-ins, scheduling, and template management. Assist the supervisor with supply, equipment, and personnel decisions. Attend pertinent meetings as requested by the supervisory therapist or clinic director. Requires an active Physical Therapy Assistant license and one year of specialized experience.
Required Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience which includes implementing physical therapy treatment plans, instructing on physical therapy programs, or providing status reports
- A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from a state, the District of Columbia, or a territory of the United States
