Physical Therapy Assistant Full Time San Diego County

Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a physical therapist and physician's plan of care. Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance through active and passive therapeutic exercises, gait training, and prosthetic instruction. Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and massage while observing and reporting patient reactions and condition changes. Instruct patients on the use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, and orthotic devices. Maintain clinical and conference records within prescribed time frames and participate in home care team meetings and inservice education programs. Full-time position in San Diego County with pay between $50-$57 per visit.
