Job Summary
Provide person-centered physical therapy treatments to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist; administer prescribed PT to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing. Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision; measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance; respond to service requests and relay information to the Physical Therapist; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team; ensure thorough documentation in compliance with policies and regulations; educate patients, families, and caregivers; attend required meetings. Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
