Job Summary
Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Implement and modify patients' physical therapy plans of care, while measuring and recording motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Monitor patient response to interventions, relay information and referrals to the PT, and provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers. Ensure thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license", "In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Desired Qualifications
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred", "Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices", "Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
