Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant (FT) position treating patients aged 18 to geriatric in rehabilitation, administering treatment programs under physician and physical therapist direction, educating patients and families on physical therapy methods, and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team at Johnson County Rehabilitation. Requires active PTA licensure in the state and BLS certification; inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred. Strong verbal/written communication, organizational, time-management, analytical and detail-oriented skills are valued; benefits include comprehensive health, retirement, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
- Desire/Inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred)
