Job Summary
Administer treatment using therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and modalities like air, water, electricity, sound, or light under the direction of a Supervising Physical Therapist. Assist with patient evaluations, make minor modifications to predetermined treatment plans, and document progress. Perform delegated physical therapy procedures while maintaining all State Board Examination licensure requirements. Work Mon-Friday with no weekends, adhering to a medium duty level with a 50 lb lifting limit and 33% sit/stand/walk ratios.
Required Qualifications
- degree from an APTA accredited physical therapy program
- current license to practice
- graduated from a A.P.T.A accredited therapy assistant program
- minimal of an Associates degree
- be eligible for State Board Examination
- pass the licensing exam
- maintain all requirements of State licensure
- strong orthopedic and manual skills
- self-motivated
- very organized
- caring
- Mon-Friday schedule
- no weekends
