Physical Therapy Assistant

Assist physical therapists in implementing and modifying treatment plans by providing hands-on therapy, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Collect and document patient data, progress notes, and treatment outcomes while reporting changes in conditions to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, equipment use, and home exercise programs to enhance functional independence. Set up and maintain therapeutic equipment, collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals on care team meetings, and adhere to facility safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
