Physical Therapy Assistant

Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments and provide skilled PT services under supervision to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing. Deliver interventions in accordance with physician orders under Physical Therapist supervision, respond to service requests, implement and modify treatment plans with PT oversight, measure and record motor function and strength, monitor patient responses and adjust approaches with IDT collaboration, provide education to patients and families, ensure thorough timely documentation compliant with regulatory requirements, and participate in required meetings.
