Physical Therapy Assistant--Chicago--Outpatient Orthopedics

Conduct thorough patient evaluations using goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations. Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques including Graston and Dry Needling, and modalities to improve patient outcomes. Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs while documenting progress accurately in Epic Hyperspace. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants on a one-to-one ratio to ensure effective delegation and continuity of care. Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered orthopedic care. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and contribute to department innovation.
