Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers. Collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines while completing a minimum number of patient visits weekly. Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs, adhering to all agency policies, regulations, and federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel. Bonus points for 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant, home-health experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
