Physical Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will implement the plan of treatment designed by the Physical Therapist in outpatient care for patients from adolescent through geriatric age. Responsibilities include carrying out patient care programs with appropriate techniques and modalities, maintaining weekly communication with supervising therapists, documenting in medical records, providing education to staff, patients, families, and the community, and assisting with discharge planning. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and Kentucky certification eligibility; two years of clinical experience preferred. The role supports Baptist Health’s clinical excellence and teamwork in a full-time, on-site capacity at Elizabethtown, KY.
