Job Summary
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments and interventions to adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities throughout Ocean County, NJ. Implement individualized plans of care including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and balance training to improve client mobility, strength, and functional independence. Partner with an experienced Physical Therapist to monitor progress, communicate changes, and educate clients and families on safety strategies. Accurately document all treatments and observations using the electronic medical record system. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and one-on-one client care within a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to senior living communities throughout Ocean County
Desired Qualifications
- Home health or senior living experience
- Solid computer skills
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
