Job Summary
Assist with patient evaluations, establish goals, and develop treatment plans while overseeing therapeutic activities and ensuring consistent care delivery. Document all interactions, communicate with physicians for revisions, and utilize equipment safely. Supervise and mentor lower-level assistants, lead departmental initiatives, and contribute to clinical program development. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies while adjusting personal schedules for clinic needs. Complete 150 hours of live CEUs and serve as a clinic instructor to PTA students as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Associate Degree in relevant field
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- 15 years of experience as a PTA
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the APTA
- Leadership experience
- Some prior leadership responsibility
