Job Summary
Staff Physical Therapist Assistant at CNS to support individuals with brain injuries and other neurologic diagnoses by initiating and maintaining therapeutic programs, implementing treatment modalities and pain relief techniques under supervision, reviewing and updating patient plans, and communicating with patients, families, insurers, and other therapists to promote mobility, independence, and meaningful quality of life. Responsibilities include applying modalities (hot/cold packs, omni stim, NMES, TENS), providing light–deep massage as trained, coordinating monthly reassessments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting professional development and mentorship opportunities for ongoing skill growth.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program required
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment
- Membership in APTA is desirable
