Job Summary
Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support CNS patients with acquired brain injuries. Under supervision of Licensed Physical Therapist, initiates and maintains therapeutic programs, implements treatment modalities (hot packs, cold packs, omni stim, NMES, TNS units, manual therapy), conducts monthly reassessments, updates patient programs, and maintains accurate records. Responsible for helping patients regain mobility and independence, contributing to pain relief and emotional well-being, and supporting overall rehabilitation goals. Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and current licensure or eligibility for licensure; offers full-time benefits and opportunities for professional development and mentorship within CNS.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program required
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment
- Membership in APTA is desirable
