Job Summary
Greet arriving patients, prepare them for physical therapy by applying and removing supportive devices, and assist therapists during treatment sessions. Safeguard and motivate patients while performing routine modalities like hot/cold packs, ultrasounds, and electrical stimulation. Clean work areas and equipment, wash and maintain linens, and keep restrooms stocked with supplies. Support the Patient Experience Coordinator by managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, filing charts, and tracking inventory. Maintain high patient satisfaction through clear communication and compassion while adhering to state practice act requirements. This part-time role offers bi-annual pay increases, a 401(k) match, and commuter benefits for Wilmington, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate and or intern preferred
- Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills-written and verbal
- Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred
