Job Summary
Physical Therapy Aide supports PT care delivery under the physical therapist's direction, performing clerical duties, maintaining patient records and charts, scheduling patients, preparing the clinic for therapy sessions, assisting patients with exercises and modalities under supervision, educating patients on equipment and home exercises, and ensuring inventory and clinic safety. Requires HS diploma or GED, CPR, ability to use medical software, and successful drug screening; Indian preference noted. Typical duties include coordinating referrals, TAR submissions, record-keeping, patient greetings, and assisting with treatment modalities under the PT's supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Moderate level of computer literacy
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and medical terminology
- CPR certification required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
