Physical Therapy Aide - Outpatient

Assist licensed therapists and therapy assistants with patient care, including safe transfers between wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys. Transport pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to and from therapy sessions while monitoring for injury aggravation. Prepare and maintain treatment areas, perform clerical duties such as ordering supplies, and manage therapy schedules and equipment tracking. Ensure daily cleaning and maintenance assignments are completed using proper body mechanics and safety techniques. Maintain high personal standards and positive working relationships with team members and patients. Full-time role with a BLS certification required within three months; valid driver's license and DOT medical card required for RIO department transport duties.
