Job Summary
Cleans and sterilizes treatment areas and equipment between uses, ensuring linens are folded and replaced when supplies are low. Stocks tables and modality carts with appropriate linen and supplies, while maintaining weights and other equipment in proper stations. Keeps the gym, waiting room, and restrooms organized, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming as needed to support housekeeping. Fills out equipment maintenance sheets and monitors temperatures of paraffin and hydroculator baths for safety. Performs daily inspections of ultrasound units, EMS units, whirlpool tubs, and freezers to ensure they are in good working order. Engages patients in friendly conversations and provides excellent customer service, referring all medical questions to treating clinicians. Requires standing on feet most of the day, multitasking with multiple clinicians, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

- Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
- Local travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Clinical Aide experience preferred
- High school graduate and or intern preferred
- Demonstrate interest in the rehabilitation field
- Energetic and a team player
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients
- Complete tasks thoroughly
- Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred
