Job Summary
Greet arriving patients and assist physical therapists during treatment by preparing them for sessions and removing supportive devices. Safeguard and motivate patients while practicing exercises under professional direction, and provide routine modalities including hot/cold packs, ultrasounds, and electrical stimulation. Clean work areas and equipment post-treatment, wash linens, and maintain restrooms and supply stock. Support the patient experience coordinator with phone answers, appointment scheduling, charting, and inventory management. Perform these duties in compliance with state practice act requirements while maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate and or intern preferred
- Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills-written and verbal
- Patient/Client Satisfaction: Providing care/service that exceeds expectations
- Energetic and a team player
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients
- Complete tasks thoroughly
- Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred
