Physical Therapy Aide

Clean and organize work areas, disinfect equipment, and maintain furniture and linens. Secure patients onto therapy equipment, transport them between rooms, and assist with dressing, braces, and splints. Instruct and motivate patients during exercises, administer manual therapies, and measure range of motion and vital signs. Observe patients to compile progress data and report to therapists. Confer with staff to evaluate patient information for treatment planning. Perform clerical duties including inventory, ordering supplies, answering phones, and filling forms. Assist with feeding and bathing residents on bed rest. Requires a high school diploma, HIPAA compliance, and ability to multitask with several patients.
