Physical Therapy Aide (Full-Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including modalities, manual techniques and common exercise techniques. Instructs and guides patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait and balance. Observes treatment precautions, reports changes to nurses and therapists, and documents interventions in patient charts in the acute care setting. Must meet vaccination requirements and participate in E-Verify; education includes HS/GED with preferred associate degree.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate’s/Technical Degree in physical therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- CPR or BLS certification (required)
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required
