Job Summary
Greet arriving patients and assist physical therapists and assistants during treatment by preparing patients for sessions, removing supportive devices, and administering modalities like hot/cold packs and ultrasound. Safeguard and motivate patients practicing exercises under professional direction while maintaining work areas, cleaning equipment, and managing linen inventory. Support the Patient Experience Coordinator with phone answers, appointment scheduling, chart filing, and inventory tracking. Perform routine treatments and document projects thoroughly. This part-time role in Dublin, OH offers a bi-annual pay increase, transit and parking benefits, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate and or intern preferred
- Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills-written and verbal
- Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred
- Energetic and a team player
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients
- Complete tasks thoroughly
