Job Summary
Physical Therapist conducts evaluation, screening, develops a plan of care, and provides direct patient care. Independently implement a physical therapy treatment program, modifying plan of care based on patients’ changing medical conditions. Conducts educational in-service on benefits of Physical Therapy to patients/families, other disciplines, hospital staff, and the community. Performs non-patient duties including clerical tasks, posting charges, and light housekeeping within Rehabilitation. Works under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services director/manager. Location is Zion, IL; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with 1 Saturday per month and limited on-call holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy with minimum 2 years of experience
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist license, or approval letter from Continental Testing Services, Inc. for PT licensure examination
- CPR certification
