Job Summary
Pelvic Floor/Women’s Health Specialist provides outpatient rehabilitation focused on pelvic floor and women’s health. Develops individualized treatment plans for conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prenatal/postpartum care, pelvic organ prolapse, and post-surgical needs. Uses evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, exercise prescription, and behavioral strategies; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and documents efficiently using EMR and ALT tools while ensuring compliance with state/federal/payer guidelines. Requires Doctor of Physical Therapy, NM PT licensure (or eligibility), and pelvic floor therapy training or willingness to obtain; emphasizes empathy, professionalism, patient education, and the ability to manage complex cases.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program
- Active New Mexico PT license (or eligibility)
- Specialized Training in pelvic floor therapy or willingness to obtain with Armada’s support
- Empathy and professionalism; strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to manage complex cases with clinical reasoning and safe patient handling
