Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and design comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Act. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification while adhering to departmental policies and Mercy Service Standards. Requires weekend shift at Mercy Hospital Southeast with physical demands including lifting 50 lbs and prolonged standing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Weekend shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
