Job Summary
Provide Physical Therapy services directed towards preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring motor function for patients in the Fall River, Somerset-Seekonk, East Bay RI, and Taunton/Raynham areas. Support the VNA Rehabilitation Department under general supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services, and the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee. Perform duties focused on developing, improving, or maintaining maximum physical, emotional, social, and mental performance within patient capabilities. Drive on average three or more times per week to support these locations. Maintain current licensure in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, hold Basic Life Support and CPR certification, and possess proficiency with electronic records programs. Work per diem day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm with pay determined by visit rates and experience level.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current License in Physical Therapy in both MA & RI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs
- One (1) year of experience
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Driving on average 3 or more times per week
