Job Summary
Physical Therapist with wound care focus at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive PT evaluations, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence; applying wound care knowledge as appropriate; collaborating with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to coordinate individualized care; documenting patient progress and outcomes in the EMR; educating patients and caregivers on mobility strategies, safety, and recovery goals; and participating in discharge planning to support transitions of care. Must have a PT license in Tennessee, current CPR/BLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills. This full-time role operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend coverage in an acute care/inpatient rehabilitation setting and offers the opportunity to work within a nationally recognized health system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current or eligible Tennessee Physical Therapist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care physical therapy
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with wound care treatment and management
- Background working with medically complex or post-surgical patients
