Job Summary
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and sports medicine patients, providing evidence-based rehabilitation for post-operative and non-operative conditions. Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes, while supporting care initiatives associated with the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Educate patients and families on injury prevention, recovery expectations, home exercise programs, and return-to-activity strategies, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning and manual therapy techniques to restore function. Contribute to a positive team culture focused on exceptional patient experience and assist in building and growing orthopedic rehabilitation services within mountain communities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado (or eligible for Colorado licensure through Compact Privilege)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience or strong interest in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
