Job Summary
Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results. Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines, including responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and implement physical therapy treatment programs. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Requires a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy degree, Florida license, and CPR certification. Salary range $75,000-$90,000 with sign-on bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state of Florida Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
