Job Summary
Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results, then provide direct patient care by established protocols. Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers while overseeing care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Complete written plans of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment programs including exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Current Georgia license and CPR certification required; new graduates welcome. Salary range $75,000-$90,000 with sign-on bonuses, mentorship, and an in-house APTA-accredited residency program available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state of Georgia Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
