Job Summary

Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results, reviewing physician referrals and medical records to determine required physical therapy interventions. Provide direct patient care following established protocols while documenting findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers. Manage patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring timely documentation of daily notes, workers' compensation reports, and discharge summaries. Implement comprehensive treatment programs including outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation, communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Requires a CAPTE-accredited graduate degree, current state license, and CPR certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current state of STATE license
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
  • Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
