Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans for those recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities while monitoring progress to adjust plans as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to restore mobility and reduce pain. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards while ensuring a safe environment for all patients. Work morning and afternoon shifts in Waterbury, CT, reporting to a compassionate rehabilitation team focused on personalized care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid Physical Therapy license in CT
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings is a plus
