Job Summary
Evaluate students' physical and functional needs, including gross motor development, balance, and mobility, to develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on IEP goals. Deliver physical therapy services in person or via teletherapy to support educational access, while collaborating with teachers, families, and related-service providers. Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, then monitor progress to revise interventions and complete required documentation. Participate in ARD and IEP meetings to share clinical findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Texas Physical Therapy license
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures, related services, and school-based therapy practices
- Ability to independently manage evaluations, treatment schedules, documentation, and assigned responsibilities
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
